Tomoyo Daidouji has no magic and does not want any. What she has is a camcorder, an enormous house, and a best friend who fights animated cards after school. Her contribution is total: she records every capture, keeps the footage catalogued, and hand-sews a new costume for each mission, chosen to suit the card Sakura is likely to face and to look correct on video.
The joke is that she is entirely serious about it. She turns up at midnight rooftops with a tripod and no fear whatsoever, gets kidnapped roughly as often as anyone in the cast, and treats the danger as a lighting problem. Her mother Sonomi runs a toy company and was close to Sakura's late mother Nadeshiko, which makes the two girls distant cousins as well as friends.
She also sings, well enough that the series stops for it more than once. CLAMP built her as the camera the reader looks through, someone whose whole role is watching Sakura and finding her wonderful, and the show is honest enough about that to make it the point rather than a running gag.
Spelling TOMOYO
TOMOYO is the given name, six letters, and the family name Daidouji is not the answer, which spares you a long vowel in the middle of it. The gift here is the O count. Three of them, in positions two, four and six, so the word alternates consonant and O the whole way. One confirmed O in an even slot and you can place the other two.
