Douma runs a religious cult, the Eternal Paradise Sect, and eats the followers who come to him for comfort. He was born with strange pale eyes, his parents decided that made him divine, and he has been playing a god since childhood without once feeling anything a god is supposed to feel. He says so cheerfully, to people who are dying, in the tone of a host making small talk.
In a fight he opens a pair of gold fans and freezes the air. His blood demon art produces ice sculptures, freezing fog, and a lung-filling mist that kills anyone who breathes it, which makes him one of the few demons who wins by making the room uninhabitable rather than by hitting harder. He holds the second seat of the Twelve Kizuki and does not appear to work at it.
Gotouge built him as the opposite of Akaza. One demon has a rule he cannot explain and grieves anyway. The other has full command of every human expression and no idea what any of them are for. Both report to the same man, and only one of them enjoys the job.
Spelling DOUMA
DOUMA is where the usual advice reverses. Plenty of Japanese names drop their long vowel in English, but this one keeps it: the answer is DOUMA with the U, not DOMA, even though some official translations print it without. The kanji is 童磨. Five letters, two vowels in a row at position two and three, which is unusual enough to be a foothold.
