Rebecca joins Maine's crew alongside her brother Pilar and treats every firefight as a good time. She is tiny, loud and uninterested in restraint, and the animation makes her size both the joke and the threat: recoil throws her around the frame and she keeps firing. Studio Trigger's house style suits her better than it suits anyone else in the cast.
She became the show's breakout almost immediately. Fan art, cosplay and merchandise arrived within weeks of the Netflix release in September 2022, and CD Projekt Red later put her shotgun Guts into Cyberpunk 2077 as a weapon players can find. Traffic between a game and its adaptation does not usually run in that direction.
The loyalty matters more than the gunplay. She attaches herself to David early, mocks him without pause, and never once wavers when the crew starts coming apart. Edgerunners spends ten episodes making the audience like people it plans to spend badly, and Rebecca is the one it uses to prove the point.
Spelling REBECCA
REBECCA is seven letters and the doubled letter is the C, not the B. Rebeca with one C is standard Spanish, Rebekah with a K is standard Hebrew, and both feel plausible enough to burn a guess. Count the shape instead: two E's, two C's, a single B, and an A closing the row.
