Tamaki Suoh is half French, raised in France by his mother, and brought to Japan by a grandmother who will not let the two of them meet. He responds by treating a school club as a household. He calls himself Daddy, assigns everyone a family role, and takes the arrangement seriously enough that the joke stops being funny and starts being the point.
As a host he is the princely type, which means roses, dramatic lighting and declarations delivered at volume. He is also genuinely attentive: he remembers what each guest is worried about and asks. The club's business model rests on that, and on Kyoya keeping the books while Tamaki spins in a chair inventing themed costume days that cost real money.
Haruhi arrives, breaks a vase worth eight million yen, and works off the debt as a host while everyone slowly notices she is a girl. Tamaki notices last and handles it worst. Bisco Hatori uses him to run the series' actual argument, which is that the shoujo hero archetype is ridiculous and that being ridiculous on purpose, for other people, is a kind of generosity.
Spelling TAMAKI
TAMAKI is the given name and the one the game wants. The family name is Suoh, written Suou with a long vowel that English drops, which would be the harder answer. TAMAKI itself is six letters in three even beats, ta-ma-ki, with no doubled consonant and no long vowel to argue about. Two A's, an I on the end, spelled the way it sounds.
