Wrath is King Bradley, Fuhrer of Amestris, which is a bold place for a monster to hide. He wears an eyepatch over the eye that makes him dangerous: the Ultimate Eye reads movement, trajectory and weakness faster than a human can act on any of it, and against a swordsman with that advantage most fights end inside a single exchange.
Unlike his siblings he is mortal. He ages, he can be cut, and he has none of the regeneration the others lean on, which the series treats as a fair trade for what the eye does. He also has a wife he seems genuinely fond of and an adopted son, and he works from an office with a desk and a diary like anybody else.
The name is exact. Bradley is calm in nearly every scene, polite to his subordinates, mild in cabinet meetings, and the anger sits underneath all of it as an appetite for a fight. Arakawa hands the country's top job to the sin that enjoys violence most, then declines to explain the joke to anyone.
Spelling WRATH
WRATH is five letters opening on a silent W, which is the only real trap and a good one: spelled from sound you land on RATH and the row comes up short. It closes on TH, another pair of letters making one noise. Of the seven English sin words in this cast, it is the one with a letter you do not say.
