Pieck Finger holds the Cart Titan, a long low quadruped built to carry rather than to punch. It hauls gun platforms, ammunition and squads of soldiers, and it can hold its transformation far longer than the others because nothing about the job is a sprint. In a line-up of titans designed to break things, Marley's most useful one turns out to be a truck.
Out of the titan she is stooped, unhurried and permanently half asleep, delivering alarming statements in a flat voice. Marley has worked her hard enough that walking on all fours has become the posture she finds comfortable. The joke lands and then curdles about a minute later, which is roughly the fourth season's entire method of operation.
She is also the warrior with the clearest head. Where Reiner is coming apart and Zeke is playing a game of his own, Pieck watches, tests the people around her, and reaches conclusions well ahead of the officers giving her orders. When the story needs somebody to work out what is actually happening, the scene usually goes to her.
Spelling PIECK
PIECK is five letters and one of the nastier spellings in the whole dataset. It runs an IE straight into a CK, a Dutch-looking pair of clusters that English fingers want to tidy into PEAK, PEEK or PIEK. Nothing in the spoken name warns you the C is there, because it does no audible work. There is no rule to lean on. Memorise the CK.
