Sanemi Shinazugawa is the Wind Hashira, and his introduction is a knife into Nezuko's box in front of everyone. He is not being theatrical. He is testing whether a demon can resist blood, and his own is marechi, a rare type so overpowering that demons lose their reasoning near it, which he uses as bait more or less constantly.
The rage has a source. He killed a demon himself before he ever joined the corps, in circumstances that left him convinced the whole family is better off with him at a distance, and his younger brother Genya joined anyway. Their scenes together are mostly Sanemi shouting at him to leave, which is the only way this character knows how to say anything kind.
Wind Breathing suits him: fast, wide, brutal, with none of the elegance the Water or Flower styles show off. Gotouge tends to let the Hashira reveal their reasons late, and Sanemi's arrives near the end of the series, at which point his opening scene stops reading as cruelty and starts reading as something worse.
Spelling SANEMI
SANEMI is six letters and clean: three consonants, three vowels, strict alternation, no long sounds and nothing dropped in translation. Otakana wants the given name, which is a mercy, because Shinazugawa runs to eleven. The vowels go a, e, i, all different, so each confirmed letter genuinely removes a candidate rather than repeating one.
