Gajeel Redfox
The iron dragon slayer introduced himself by wrecking the guild hall. He joined it later. Nobody has forgiven the guitar.

Gajeel Redfox turns his body into metal. His arms become clubs and blades, he eats iron to recharge, and he was raised by the iron dragon Metalicana until it vanished on the same day every other dragon did. Fairy Tail meets him as an enemy, since he works for the rival guild Phantom Lord, and his opening move is nailing three Fairy Tail members to a tree.
Then Phantom Lord falls apart and the guild master takes him in, which is the sort of thing Fairy Tail does. He spends the rest of the series being useful and being reminded. His partner is a small black Exceed called Panther Lily who fights with a sword nearly his own size, and he carries a long, awkward affection for Levy, one of the members he attacked.
The guitar is canon. Gajeel takes the stage during a guild party, plays badly, sings worse, and reads the resulting silence as an ovation. Hiro Mashima keeps returning to the joke, largely because a heavily pierced iron dragon slayer who believes he can sing is funnier than one who cannot be embarrassed at all.
Spelling GAJEEL
GAJEEL is six letters with a doubled E in the middle, and that pair was invented for English. The Japanese is ガジル, which reads Gajiru, so a straight transliteration hands you Gajil or Gajiru instead. Neither fills the row. Lock the EE and the rest is short work, since the surname Redfox is not wanted here.
