Mirio Togata passes through solid matter, which sounds like the best quirk in the school until you read the drawbacks. Whatever he phases through includes the ground, so he falls. It includes air, so while he is inside a wall he cannot breathe, see or hear. His clothes stay where they were. He spent years drilling the timing until the falling became a weapon rather than an accident.
The result is a fighter who cannot be hit and who arrives from underneath. Among U.A.'s Big Three, the three most advanced students in the school, he is the one the teachers name first, and the series treats him as a finished hero rather than a student in progress. His hero name is Lemillion, picked because he intends to save a million people and saw no reason to be shy about it.
What sells him is a cheerfulness that never reads as a mask. He walks into 1-A's classroom, beats the entire class at once inside a few minutes, and then congratulates them on the effort. Kohei Horikoshi puts him at the centre of the Shie Hassaikai arc, which is where My Hero Academia stops being a school story for a while and starts charging its characters properly.

Five letters, MIRIO, and this is the given name; Togata is the longer half and not the answer. It is written in katakana, the script Japanese reserves for foreign words, and it reads as a Japanese rendering of million, which is where the hero name Lemillion comes from.
