Kai Chisaki runs the Shie Hassaikai, an old criminal organisation that has been sliding into irrelevance ever since quirks made ordinary crime look quaint. His own quirk disassembles anything he makes contact with and reassembles it however he likes. He can repair a wall, close a wound, or reduce a human being to components, and all three take about as long as putting a hand on them.
He is also a severe germophobe in gloves and a plague mask who flinches at contact, which is a tidy joke about a man whose power requires touching things. His plan is to drag the yakuza back into relevance with a product: bullets that erase quirks, manufactured from the blood of a small child kept in his basement. The series is unambiguous that this is the worst thing anybody in it has done.
The Shie Hassaikai arc is where My Hero Academia grows up. Kohei Horikoshi drops the school framework, sends students on a real raid alongside professionals, and lets the outcome hurt in ways that do not get reversed. Bones animated it across the fourth season in 2019. Overhaul never receives a redemption, which in a series this interested in second chances is itself an argument.
Spelling OVERHAUL
Eight letters, OVERHAUL, and this is an English word used as a villain name, so no romanization trap applies. His real name, Kai Chisaki, is not what the puzzle wants. The letters split cleanly into OVER and HAUL, which is the easiest way to hold them. The pinch point is the AU pair near the end, written as AW or flattened into OVERHALL by people typing fast.
