Stain kills heroes, and he explains why while he does it. His argument is that heroism became a salaried career with rankings and merchandise, and that anyone in it for money or attention has stolen the word. The only professional he exempts is All Might. His quirk paralyses a person once he tastes their blood, and the duration varies by blood type, which is why he carries so many blades.
What makes him dangerous to the setting is how many readers find themselves agreeing. The series has already shown heroes chasing camera time and students being ranked by marketability. His method is monstrous and his diagnosis is not obviously wrong, and after his arrest the speech spreads online and recruits more villains than the killings ever did.
Kohei Horikoshi gives him a handful of chapters and then lets the consequences run for years, with the League of Villains reshaping itself around an idea its members mostly misunderstand. Bones animated the fight in the second season in 2017, in an alley in Hosu, and it holds up because hardly any of it is a contest of superpowers.
Spelling STAIN
Five letters, STAIN, another English hero name, this one chosen by the man wearing it; his real name, Chizome Akaguro, never turns up in the puzzle. The Japanese katakana reads Sutein, because Japanese cannot end a syllable on a bare consonant, so hearing it in the original pushes you towards spelling in an extra U. Resist that. The AI pair is the only real decision on the row.
